Alta Rezia is a vast region in the heart of the Rhaetian Alps, on the border between Italy and Switzerland. It encompasses the areas of Alta Valtellina, Val Poschiavo and Engadin.
Welcome to a mountain biking paradise! Are you ready for a unique experience? Discover our Up & Down itinerary: a journey on your beloved MTB through alpine pastures, mountain passes, parks and lush vineyards.
You’ll stay at our Lungolivigno Group hotels! All you have to worry about is cycling and enjoying your days surrounded by nature – we’ll take care of transporting your luggage!
The itinerary is self-guided, so you can manage your own schedule and decide how to pace each stage. At each stop, you can also book additional nights if you wish.
Book your journey with a start and return point at a hotel of your choice. The itinerary follows a set direction. To complete the full route, you’ll need 4 days: two nights at your chosen starting/finishing hotel and one night at each of the other stops.
If you don’t want to cycle all the way to Tirano, you can opt for a 3-day tour and return to Livigno via Valdidentro.
If you’d rather avoid some of the elevation gain or the weather takes a turn for the worse, keep in mind that the destinations are also connected by bus services that allow bicycles on board.
